Primary dysmenorrhoea is the most common gynecological condition for adolescent women and is the leading cause of adolescent women falling into work or school. The purpose of this study was to analyze the risk factors associated with the prevalence of primary dysmenorrhea and to understand the impact of primary dysmenorrhea.
This study is an analysis of 440 students. Of the 440 students, 368 and 85.4% of the students complained of primary dysmenorrhea, 123 of them, 28.5% of mild pain, 164 of them, 38.1% of moderate pain, 81 of them, severe of 18.8% The patient complained of primary dysmenorrhea.
Of the students appealing for dysmenorrhoea, 88.3% said that dysmenorrhea had a negative impact on their academic performance, with 80% of them having absences and 66.8% of them having lost their concentration during the class. Also, 37.8% reported difficulty in participating in physical activities, 31.7% had difficulty with friends, and 21% reported that dysmenorrhea affects them so that they could not do homework. In multivariate logistic regression analysis, if you have experienced weight loss, you have a history of depression or anxiety, family, friends, or loved ones, Drinking, drinking more than one can of coke a day, never giving birth, having a family history of dysmenorrhea was considered as a risk factor for primary dysmenorrhea.
In conclusion, primary dysmenorrhea is more common among college girls. This primary dysmenorrhea is seen as having a very negative impact on the academic ability of students attending school and emphasizes that medical attention is needed. There are many risk factors associated with this primary dysmenorrhea, and it is very important to identify and take action in coping with primary dysmenorrhea. For this reason, future studies suggest that in-depth study of the risk factors of primary dysmenorrhea should be undertaken and that more attention should be paid to the impact of primary dysmenorrhea on students' academic ability.
